Handwritten Letters From Loved Ones

There is always some association and emotions attached to handwritten letters. We are overwhelmed with this electronic media and hence forgot to write such letters in long time. A letter from someone special could be tucked under pillow unlike email. A friend of mine shared a wonderful website with me. I read many wonderful letters over there. I am sharing one of them over here. Hope you will enjoy.

It was in June of 1998 that legendary comedian George Carlin married Sally Wade. Tragically, just two days before their tenth anniversary, he passed away. Below is one of countless love notes he wrote to his wife.

Transcript:

SALLYBURGER,
If you took THE NUMBER OF SUB-ATOMIC PARTICLES IN THE UNIVERSE and multiplied that number times itself THAT MANY TIMES; and then added the total number of MICRO-SECONDS since the beginning of time, times itself; and then added 803—you would STILL have only the tiniest fraction of A BILLION-BILLIONTH PER CENT of the amount of love I HAVE FOR YOU.

Love,
your candle partner,
the romantic Mr Carlin,
your eternal flame.

Have fun,
Iqra
